AUDI Cup 2009
At the Audi Cup 2009, which was carried out in celebration of AUDI’s 100th Jubilee, lunatX was commissioned by order of Industrial Theater to supply all pyrotechnical effects for the opening and the cup lift ceremony on the second tournament day. Enno-Ilka Uhde directed and accounted for the opening ceremony.
During the whole opening ceremony remote controlled pyrotechnical effects, carried by artist and dancers, were fired setting highlights to the show. Thereby pyrotechnical jets, two handheld pyro-angles, two Audi Race-Flags fitted with pyro-fountains and 40 LX Pyro-Poles were used. Highlight was the cup lift for which lunatX fired streamers and confetti into the sky from four mobile firing devices in the Audi colours red and silver.

Four of the top international clubs FC Bayern München, AC Milan, Manchester United und Boca Juniors competed in the Football event in the Allianz-Arena. FC Bayern won against the English club on penalties.
