After the parade and honours of the 500 athletes the multimedia show was the highlight and finale of the event. His Highness Hamand bin Isa Khalifa King of Bahrain himself started the show by pressing the appropriate buzzer, which consisted of 3.300 singularly, controlled and programmed pyro effects. With using the highest quality pyro effects obtainable it was possible to fire over, behind and in front of the 2.000 invited guests- which made them an integral part of the show.
CEO Frank Lohse was responsible for the music synchronous choreography and programming of the pyro and flame effect parts of the show. The complex installation was technically executed through the project managers Felix Priebe and Felix Kleinwächter. The pyro-effects were triggered music synchronously through an SMPTE Timecode sketching rapid dynamic pyro waves and geometrical patterns in to the sky. In correspondence to that the 9 m high X-FLAMEliquide C.1 flame systems performed their symphony of fire.
Not only the King of Bahrain but also the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain attended the awards. The Royal Family were more than delighted with the event and the multimedia show and spoke highly of the creators.
