There’s never
been technology like this before
The system of the X-FLAMEliquide works
with flammable fluids and completely does away with liquid gas,
which means that for the first time tedious approval processes are
no longer necessary, which is a blessing for performances in closed
rooms such as theatres, film and TV studios, etc.
In addition to gas, competitors use lycopodium powder – a
really expensive consumable material that is nevertheless known
to be of wildly varying quality. In contrast, the X-FLAMEliquide
combine consistently high quality with outstanding safety.
Detailed facts
The central fuel tanks are equipped with a CO2 flooding system.
A pump system with explosion protection equipment is not needed.
The idea is therefore brilliantly simple – however, the technology
behind it is highly complex.
At the outlet of the nozzle, the liquid fuel is split into fine
droplets as soon as the mixture expands into the atmosphere. High-voltage
ignition sparks see to the necessary combustion – and this
without smoke in a brilliant flame. An infrared sensor in the combustion
space monitors the process, while a microcontroller centrally controls
all processes. The supplied media are regulated by direct-acting
solenoid valves.
The control of the overall installation is achieved with the help
of a serial data protocol based on DMX. As a result, the X-FLAMEliquide
are compatible from the outset with all the DMX control panels typically
in the stage lighting industry (e.g. Lightcommander II 24/6). It
goes without saying that the system supports the processing of 512
DMX channels.
